In line with the new Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Recreational Assembly (the body that represents recreational cricket within England and Wales) and the England and Wales Cricket Board the Worcestershire Cricket Board (WCB) is now fully responsible for promoting, managing and accounting for club affiliation within its county.

With this in mind the WCB has now introduced four different categories of affiliation (each with its own package of potential benefits) and levied the relevant costings as follows;

•  Focus Club £75 pa
•  Affiliated Club with a Junior Section £60 pa
•  Affiliated Club £40 pa
•  Secondary Affiliated Club £40 pa

Each category of affiliation will receive a full package of potential benefits offered by the WCB and its partners. Details below:

In addition, the WCB through its own constitution is also responsible for keeping an accurate and up to date database of club officials and key volunteers whilst also ensuring that all of the latest guidelines and practices for Child Welfare as defined by ECB are being implemented within recreational cricket. Therefore, please ensure you forward the following documents with full affiliation payment;

•  Volunteer Audit Form - available for download here
•  A copy of your latest Club Constitution/Set of Rules

The above documentation will assist us to communicate more effectively with your club and its members. All contact is protected by the ECB data protection policy and is stored safely and securely and is not circulated for financial gain.

Finally, the due date for affiliation fees for each cricketing year is 31st March. Therefore, please forward full payment of the associated affiliation fee for your category of club along with the Volunteer Audit Form and your latest Club Constitution/Set of Rules. Cheques should be made payable to the Worcestershire Cricket Board or WCB.
