Cricket Club Affiliation Fees are now due for the 2012 cricketing season.

As you may or may not be aware the ECB and WCB have reviewed the current affiliation packages offered to clubs. This has resulted in the ECB piloting a new core package in certain counties which if successful will be rolled out in the 2013 season nationally. Worcestershire will be trialing the new package in the 2012 season and would be grateful to receive any feedback you may have regarding what is offered.

The affiliation packages will come in the form of a certificate and frame for the club to display in their clubhouse to promote to club members that they are affiliated to the Worcestershire Cricket Board and to promote what support and incentives are on offer. The certificate and frame will be available for distribution to the club upon receipt of the full affiliation fee and volunteer audit form.

 There are now 3 categories of affiliation on offer;

• Focus Club                                                                          £85
• Primary Affiliated Club (with a Junior Section/Affiliated Club)   £60
• Secondary Affiliated Club 2012                                             £45

Each category of affiliation will receive a full package of potential benefits offered by the WCB and its partners. Please find enclosed the potential benefits package and associated affiliation fee identified for your category of club.

In addition, the WCB through its own constitution is also responsible for keeping an accurate and up to date database of club officials and key volunteers whilst also ensuring that all of the latest guidelines and practices for Child Welfare as defined by ECB are being implemented within recreational cricket.

Therefore, please ensure you forward the following documents with full affiliation payment;

• Volunteer Audit Form
• A copy of your latest Club Constitution/Set of Rules

The above documentation will assist us to communicate more effectively with your club and its members. All contact is protected by the ECB data protection policy and is stored safely and securely and is not circulated for financial gain.

The due date for affiliation fees for each cricketing year is 23rd March. Please forward full payment of the associated affiliation fee for your category of club along with the Volunteer Audit Form and your latest Club Constitution/Set of Rules.

All payment should be made in favour of the 'Worcestershire Cricket Board' or 'WCB' and forwarded to; Affiliation, WCB, County Ground, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ
