The ECB has introduced the new coaching tool "HOWZAT"

It is vital that all coaches whether from Worcs or Staffs Clubs are aware as to how to use this within their coaching and ensure our coaching programmes are consistent and the best in the two counties.

All coaches and prospective coaches in our District are being asked to attend a training night at the Village Hotel Dudley on Thursday 23rd of February commencing 7.30pm

This tool is as vital to future coaching as any of the courses you have completed. Attendance may be compulsory in the future (at a cost to the coach or the club) Whereas this session is free.

Certificates of attendance will be given and a presentation of the facilities that the village has to offer for coaching junior and senior teams will be given and on display.

There is no reason to suppose that the ECB will not add attendance of coaches as a Clubmark requirement in the future so let's be ahead of the game.

At least one coach from each district club will be required together with all lead coaches for those holding club coach qualifications

It will also be useful for those coaches currently undergoing or just completing their coaching courses.

There will also be time to discuss general coaching issues both at the presentation and in the bar after.

The course is open to all ECB coaches and anyone else who is interested in coaching and will give practical advise on how to use the HOWZAT coaching DVD which was circulated with membership details last year.
