Worcester Nomads 'B' winners of the Worcestershire Cricket Board Competition 2009 played at Edgbaston on 28th Feb in this years regional finals. Having beaten Norton in Hales from Shropshire in the first semi final, by virtue of losing fewest wickets in a tied match, they lost to Godmanchester of Huntingdonshire in the final to decide who plays at Lords on 14th March. Well done to Nomads for getting so far and finishing 5= in the Country and good luck to Godmanchester.

All 4 Leagues are entirely self supporting financially and Umpires and Scorers are arranged by the Hall manager mainly from WCU&SA.
- The KINVER league is based on Kinver Leisure Centre, an adjunct of Edgehill School. The Teams play on Monday evenings and the Hall Manager is David Thomas.
- There are 2 LEAGUES IN WORCESTER based on the Sports Hall of the Royal Grammar School. The teams play on Sunday and Monday evenings and the Hall Manager is John Iggulden.
- The EVESHAM League plays on Tuesday Evenings and is based at The Prince Henry Sports Centre, an adjunct of Prince Henry's High School. The teams play on Tuesday evenings and Tim Granger is the Hall Manager
Indoor Cricket has its own Special Rules and Playing Regulations and these conform to those issued by ECB. The winners of each League meet at the end of April to determine a Worcestershire County Champion who will enter the knockout stage of the ECB National Championships early next year.
