Details of Courses for Cricket Coaches
Notes; UKCC/ECB Level 1 Coaching Assistant Following communication with The Sports Partnership (Herefordshire & Worcestershire) you will note on reading the course programme booklet that for the first time in 2007-8 Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid are included in the Level 1 Course Programme. UKCC/ECB Level 2 Coach Award Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid courses are not included in the UKCC Level 2 course programme. Prospective candidates who wish to enter the coach education pathway at Level 2 (i.e; go straight to Level 2 and by pass Level 1) will need to access courses externally if not already attended. For further information on accessing all Coach Education and Club Development courses please follow the web link; http://www.morethansport.com/ Conversion Course (old style ECB Level 1/Coaching Award to new UKCC Level 2) Again, Safeguarding and Protecting Children and First Aid courses are not included in the Conversion Course programme. Existing ECB Level 1/old Coaching Award holders wishing to update should already have attended both courses. If not candidates will need to access courses externally if not already attended. Again, please follow the link above. In addition a new programme of Coach Development Workshops has been produced. These workshops are available to all but are directed at individuals wishing to further themselves on the Coach Development pathway after completing and passing UKCC Level 2. Further detailed information on all Coach Education courses can be obtained by contacting the Worcestershire Cricket Board as advised in the publication and detailed below. As last year priority of access for all Coach Education courses will be given to Worcestershire Cricket Board designated 'Focus Clubs'. Please book early (as detailed) to avoid disappointment.
